washing snow

We rarely get snow in these here parts.  Okay, rephrase.  We rarely get snow that STICKS.

We are going on two days of our current winter (or fall rather) wonderland...this meant that we needed to go get wet:P

Now, little Mr. was only months old this time last year, so needless to say there wasn't a lot of snow exploration.

So I, thrilled with the snow, dressed my little man head to toe and warmness

until he vaguely resembled the kid from the Christmas story.

compare

Anyway....this is how it ended up.

He just stared.

And when it touched him. ..

He cried.

and then he got up and ran down the road.

This is my son.

And hes a snow hater.

I could not sway him.

Maybe someday.

anyway.....on another note:

my washer that went out the other day (the one that sounded like someone was firing a semi-automatic next to your head when you turned it on) has been replaced.

Dads will always be dads, and they will always want to take care of their little girl.

He came to the rescue, and I could not talk him out of it.

yay.

clean clothes now.

thank you dad.

(Meanwhile the old washer is looking very hillbillyish on my front porch)

Papa's are also good for other things....

spoiling.

and what better way to spoil a little boy than with a new trunk!  Actually, two new trucks.

our 700 square feet is getting smaller by the day!

Little Mr. says:

"Thank you Papa for the cool new toys, but I still like the other one the best!"

So again....thank you papa for the washer....

or more specifically, the giant box.

yay for boxes.

and yay for cute little boys in said boxes
